Meeting Ed Moses at Rugby School torch relay

Monday 2nd July 2012

After watching a 1883 re-creation of rugby on the Close (think Tom Brown’s Schooldays), I was fortunate enough to meet the American 400m Hurdles phenom, Ed Moses after he gave his speech to the School at it’s annual Arnold Foundation Lecture. His message rang clear for all to hear: “I wasn’t the smartest and I was never the fastest but I worked and kept my nose to the grind to get me to where I needed to be.”
